Transforming Training Management with Advanced Data Visualization

Transforming Training Management with Advanced Data Visualization

Devis supported the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) by developing the Training and Exchange Automated Management System (TEAMS). This project aimed to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities, ensuring USAID's compliance with statutory requirements and improving program management.

The TEAMS project was designed to address the complexities of managing and reporting on USAID's training programs. Devis provided critical expertise in data visualization, creating a robust and user-friendly system. Key components of the project included

We designed a secure database and related services to handle sensitive data transfers, ensuring compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). This system securely sorted various datasets and generated comprehensive reports on USAID's training program investments and outcomes.

Streamlined Data Management

By integrating advanced data analytics and reporting tools, the TEAMS application provided USAID staff with insightful and accessible data visualizations. This improved their ability to manage training programs effectively and make informed decisions.

Enhanced Data Visualization

The TEAMS application featured a layered architecture with a modern, responsive browser-based interface. Technologies such as Bootstrap, React, and jQuery were employed to enhance usability and enable potential mobile capabilities. The presentation layer communicated with the backend Grails application via RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data integration and retrieval.

Layered Architecture

Devis established a dedicated Helpdesk support system to provide continuous assistance, addressing technical issues promptly and ensuring the smooth operation of the TEAMS application.
