GEM II contract awarded to Devis

GEM II Contract Awarded The Bureau for Economic Growth, Agriculture, and Trade, Office of Education (EGAT/ED) has awarded the Global Evaluation and Monitoring II (GEM II) contract to Development InfoStructure, Inc. (Devis) as part of the JBS International, Aguirre Division Team.

EGAT/ED will be using the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under the GSA Management, Organizational, and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) contract vehicle to procure services from Devis.

GEM II will provide the ability to meet the greatly increased level of requests for services in the rapidly expanding education portfolio of the Agency by providing missions and bureaus with design, monitoring, evaluation, and best practices dissemination services for the education and training sector (including basic education, higher education, participant training, human and institutional capacity development, youth, and workforce development).

In an recent interview, Cristina Mossi, the Executive Vice President of Devis said that GEM II is an "excellent opportunity to provide superior service to EGAT/ED USAID".

Devis will be providing services such as education sector assessments, project design, evaluations, and combinations of such services. Additionally, long-term, multi-year services such as ongoing activity monitoring and evaluation are also included. The services will be provided to any of the above listed sectors or subsectors or for education sector-related activities.

This efficient, single-award MOBIS mechanism gives missions and bureaus maximum flexibility and rapid response, with no time limits or ceilings. EGAT/ED will have the ability to provide educational and training services to their customers in a much more efficient manner.
